Product Description
The Bluebird AVS AC Stabilizer is an Automatic Voltage Stabilizer built specifically for air conditioners. Inside is a transformer with multiple taps, and the control circuit monitors the incoming voltage and switches between taps to correct it – no motor involved, so the switching happens fast.
It’s rated at 5 KVA and works across a wide input range, which covers the kind of voltage drops and surges common on Indian power supply. Its rating is sized to handle the starting current an AC compressor draws, which is higher than its running current – a stabilizer that isn’t sized for this can trip or fail to protect the compressor at the moment it matters most.
The unit comes in a metal enclosure built for continuous use through the AC season, and most models show input and output voltage on a display so you can check it’s working.
