AVS Main Line Stabilizer, 2-Ph, 5 KVA
The Bluebird AVS Main Line Stabilizer (2-Ph, 5 KVA) is installed at a home or shop's main incoming supply, correcting voltage for every connected light, fan, and appliance downstream instead of protecting just one. Built for a two-phase supply, it corrects automatically across a wide input range so the whole premises stays on stable power even when the incoming supply fluctuates.
Product Description
The Bluebird AVS Main Line Stabilizer is an Automatic Voltage Stabilizer built for the main distribution point of a home, shop, or small office, not a single appliance. Inside is a transformer with multiple taps, and the control circuit monitors the incoming voltage and switches between taps to correct it – no motor involved, so the switching happens fast.
It’s rated at 5 KVA and built for a two-phase supply, taking a wider 170-440V input range in a single configuration rather than the three separate bands offered on the single-phase version. It’s sized for the combined connected load of a 1-2 BHK home or a small shop running lights, fans, a TV, a refrigerator, and similar general loads together.
The unit comes in a metal enclosure built for continuous placement near the meter or distribution board, and most models show input and output voltage on a display so you can check it’s working. An optional high/low voltage trip with time delay is available for installations that need the supply cut automatically outside the working range.
Whole-Premises Coverage
Installed at the main incoming supply, so every downstream light, fan, and appliance runs on corrected voltage from one unit instead of fitting a stabilizer to each appliance.
Durable
Microprocessor controlled electronics circuit ensuring positive switching of relay contact making it more durable.
High Efficiency
Installed with unique designed vacuum impregnated transformer ensures less heating, high efficiency and low power consumption.
Sturdy Enclosure
Power coated metallic chassis built to sit at the distribution board and run continuously.
Well Tested
Rigorously tested as per IS:8448:1989 specifications.
Recommended Applications
- Homes and apartments on a two-phase supply running mixed general loads through one distribution board
- Small shops and shopfronts on a two-phase connection with lighting, a counter, and a few appliances
- Offices and clinics on a two-phase supply where all connected equipment needs protecting from one point
- Installations where fitting a separate stabilizer to each appliance isn't practical
- Areas with frequent voltage sag or surge affecting the whole premises, not just one appliance
Not Recommended For
- A single high-starting-current load like an AC compressor, which is better served by a stabilizer sized specifically for it
- Premises on a single-phase or three-phase supply, since this unit is built for a two-phase connection
- A connected load beyond 5 KVA, since correction quality drops once the unit is overloaded
- Highly sensitive electronics needing instant, zero-time correction, where a static CVT responds faster
