Offices, Clinics & Retail Showrooms
Keeps computers, diagnostic equipment and air conditioning running through the voltage swings common on commercial supply lines.
Offices, clinics and retail showrooms all run on the same low-tension commercial supply, and it swings the same way it does everywhere else on the grid – dropping through the afternoon as load builds, climbing back up once most connections switch off for the night. A desktop that restarts mid-invoice, a diagnostic machine drifting out of calibration, a POS terminal locking up mid-sale: none of these look like a power problem until the pattern repeats often enough to notice. Split ACs are usually the first thing to fail outright, since a compressor drawing its starting current on a low line either trips the unit or strains its motor windings.
Bluebird’s Automatic Voltage Stabilizer covers this at two points. A main line unit fitted at the distribution panel protects everything downstream from a single connection – computers, EPABX, billing systems, lighting – sized between 0.5 KVA and 10 KVA depending on the space. Where the AC load needs its own protection, a dedicated AC stabilizer sits on the compressor circuit and corrects fast enough to keep up with its start-up draw. Both switch correction electronically rather than through a motor, so there’s close to no delay, and both are tested to IS:8448:1989. A showroom or clinic that outgrows this range – a larger floor, a diagnostic centre running heavier imaging equipment – moves up to Bluebird’s Servo Voltage Stabilizer line, which scales to 1500 KVA.
Electronic Tap-Switching
Corrects voltage by switching transformer taps electronically, not with a motor, so the correction is close to instant.
Sized for Compressor Start-Up
Rated to handle the surge an AC compressor draws when it starts, not just its running current.
Main Line or Per-Unit Protection
A main line unit protects the whole panel from one point; a dedicated AC stabilizer protects a single split or window unit.
Voltage Display
Shows input and output voltage on most models, so a developing fault is visible before it causes a breakdown.
Tested to IS:8448:1989
Every unit is tested to this specification before it leaves the factory.
Scales Beyond 10 KVA
A larger office floor or multi-room clinic moves up to Bluebird's Servo Voltage Stabilizer line, rated to 1500 KVA.
