The Bluebird Isolation Transformer (7.5 KVA) separates connected equipment from the incoming supply electrically, cutting noise and isolating earth faults. It's a 1:1 unit — 230V in, 230V out — and doesn't correct voltage fluctuations on its own.
Product Description
The Bluebird Isolation Transformer (7.5 KVA) uses two separate windings — primary and secondary — coupled only by electromagnetic induction, not a direct electrical connection. That separation is what gives it its main function: stopping electrical faults and noise on the incoming supply from reaching the connected equipment, rather than correcting the voltage itself.
Output is 230V for a 230V input, single phase. At 7.5 KVA, it’s sized to isolate a control panel, a small server rack, or a cluster of lab and diagnostic instruments rather than a single device.
Because it isolates rather than regulates, an unstable supply still reaches the equipment as an unstable supply, just with the noise and fault-coupling risk removed. Where both isolation and voltage correction are needed, it’s paired with a separate stabilizer or CVT.
Galvanic Isolation
Primary and secondary windings are electrically separate, so power passes through by induction, not a direct connection, isolating equipment from earth faults and noise on the incoming supply.
Noise Reduction
Cuts common-mode noise and interference before it reaches the load, which matters for sensitive electronic and medical equipment.
Leakage Control
Secondary winding can be earthed independently, helping control leakage current and improve system safety.
